Privacy Policy — Travel Guide: Maps, Navigation

This Privacy Policy explains how SeviChaApps("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Travel Guide: Maps, Navigation mobile application (package com.sevitaapps.directions.maps.gpt.gemini.traveguide) (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this Policy.

Information We Collect

  • Precise location (GPS / fine location): used to show your position on the map, provide turn-by-turn navigation, find places near you, and show local weather. Location is used while you use those features and is not sold.
  • Advertising ID: used by Google AdMob to show ads and limit ad frequency. You can reset or delete it in your device settings.
  • Device & usage data / analytics: app events, device model, OS version, and approximate region, collected via Google Firebase Analytics to improve the App and measure advertising.
  • Push notification token: via Firebase Cloud Messaging, to send you the optional daily weather reminder and service notifications.
  • AI assistant content: when you use the in-app AI assistant ("Sevi"), the messages you type and limited context (such as your general location and preferred units) are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate responses.
  • Purchase information: if you subscribe, Google Play processes the payment. We receive your subscription status but never your full payment-card details.
  • Camera & microphone: only when you use the Translator's camera (text recognition) or voice features. This processing happens on-device via Google ML Kit; images and audio are not uploaded to us.

How We Use Information

  • Provide maps, navigation, nearby places, weather, translation, and AI assistance.
  • Show and measure advertising, and offer ad-free / premium subscriptions.
  • Send optional notifications you have enabled.
  • Maintain security and improve app performance.

Advertising & Consent

The App shows ads through Google AdMob. Depending on your region and consent, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. On first launch we present a consent request (Google User Messaging Platform) where required by law (e.g., EEA/UK). You can change your choice or reset your Advertising ID at any time in your device settings. Learn how Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers above to operate the features described, or where required by law.

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Cached weather and preferences are stored on your device and removed when you clear app data or uninstall the App.

Your Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may opt out of personalized ads. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

International Transfers

Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country by the providers listed above.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
